We are convinced that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus most fully reveal God’s plan for humanity. We commit ourselves, therefore, not only to faith in Jesus, but to faith in the things Jesus had faith in. Jesus had faith in love for all people, in peace and justice for all people, and in the forming of community that welcomes all people. Jesus also had faith in the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives and structures. As a church, we are committed to working for peace and justice, to sharing God’s love with all whom we encounter, to building an inclusive and welcoming congregation, and to changing lives and the community around us.
