Friday Youth Night
In our neighborhood, teenagers are constantly tempted to turn to “street life” and run with gangs. Part of the problem is that there are few positive environments where they can gather just to have a good time. Every Friday night, we provide neighborhood kids and youth with a place to come together to eat dinner and have fun in a safe environment. We play ping pong, board games, and turn a room into a dance floor. All youth eight years of age and older are welcome to join us Friday evenings from 6pm to 8pm upstairs in the Urban Ministry building located at 1229 Cotton Ave SW. Churches and volunteers are invited to sponsor a Youth Night by bringing dinner.
